Community Gardens
The Houlton Community Gardens are the first of many gardens to be created in Houlton. Maintenance of the garden is completed by resident volunteers who share the responsibility of planting, watering, weeding, and nurturing the plants and flowers.
Resident and gardening enthusiast, Vanessa, won the design competition and became part of the planting process after sharing the design of the garden.
