Waste collection
Houlton's bins are provided by and collected by Rugby Borough Council.
Residents should all have the following bins:
- General waste (black)
- Recycling (blue / brown / black with green lid)
- Garden waste (green / black with brown lid) - subscription only service
- Food waste (small green caddy)
Please note: Bins should be put out by 7:30am on the day of collection
Garden bins are collected every alternate Monday
Recycling bins are collected every alternate Thursday
Rubbish bins are collected every alternate Thursday
What if I have a missed collection?

I need larger items collected, who can do that?
You can request a large collection from the council website
Gritting of roads
Warwickshire County Council, as highway authority, are responsible for gritting the roads, footpaths and cycleways to maintain safety. Rugby Borough Council do not supply grit bins or grit.
