The Barn - Frequently asked questions
How do I book the Barn?
The Barn can be booked via The Exchange website (link in button below), if you are struggling to make a booking, please contact barn@urbanandcivic.com and we will provide a full booking guide.
Can the Barn be hired for a private event?
Yes, you are welcome to hire the Barn for a private event but only during the weekends (Friday – Sunday).
What is the cost to hire The Barn?
Private hire is £30/hour and we take a £100 refundable deposit with every booking. Recurring weekly hire is priced at £25/hour.
What is the capacity of The Barn?
Our official capacity is up to 60 people at any one time.
Are chairs and tables provided?
Yes, we have 10 tables and around 50 chairs which you are welcome to use as part of your booking.
Is there a kitchen at The Barn?
Yes, however there is no hob or oven, the kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Is there any additional time allowed for set up/clear down after my booking?
No, please make sure any time you need for set up/clear down is included in your booking.
Am I expected to clean the space after my booking?
Yes, please leave The Barn in a clean and tidy state before leaving (including taking away any rubbish), cleaning products and equipment are provided at the venue.
