Final resurfacing and necessary maintenance of Wroughton Drive

Thank you for your patience following yesterday’s update. We understand how frustrating the change of plans has been—particularly after earlier delays—and we want to reassure residents that we’ve been working hard behind the scenes with our contractor to get these works back on track as quickly as possible.

We’re pleased to confirm that the road surfacing works have now been rescheduled for Thursday 26th and Friday 27th March, between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

To help ensure the works and essential services can go ahead smoothly, we kindly ask residents to:

• Please put bins out early given Thursday falls on a bin collection today.
• Ensure no vehicles are parked on the road during working hours
• Where possible, use driveways or park on nearby roads

What to expect during the works:

• Rolling closures will be in place as surfacing progresses, but the onsite team will assist residents to maintain access to properties wherever possible.
• A traffic management plan will be in operation, with a diversion route via Station Avenue and Tolsford Road.

We appreciate this hasn’t been a smooth process and are grateful for your continued patience while we complete these essential improvements.
